The National Roman Museum awarded for the “Art Bonus Project of the Year” 2019

9 October 2020

This year, the National Roman Museum has participated in LuBeC-Lucca Beni Culturali, the annual meeting dedicated to “cultural heritage sector – technology – tourism.”

Chiara Giobbe, Head of the Fundraising Office, collected the prize of the contest “Art Bonus Project of the Year” 2019 awarded to the top ten projects most voted by the network users. The National Roman Museum has participated in the restoration of Tamesius Olimpius Augentius relief, thanks to the contribution of Assitec 2000, sponsored by the Rotary Club District 2080 and executed by Imagoarte. The award was presented by the General Director of Museums, Massimo Osanna, in the presence of Francesca Velani, Director of LuBeC, Anna Laura Orrico, Undersecretary of MiC and Carolina Betti, Director of Ales SpA and Art Bonus referent for MiC.

The presence in LuBeC 2020 was also an opportunity for the National Roman Museum to present the many activities that the Educational Service proposed in these months of lockdown on social channels: paying special attention to children and their families, a new way of communicating the Museum was born, with new contents, columns, educational activities and games to be experienced alone or with parents, thus creating a virtuous circle of interaction and exchange even beyond the possibility of physically visiting the museums.
