Educational Service

Promote the knowledge and sharing of cultural heritage, learn while having fun (and while helping others to have fun), stimulate emotions and reflection, experience the Museum as a place of wonder where you can come face to face with the Ancients, discovering their history and their stories, observing their objects and works of art and moving through their spaces: these are the objectives of the National Roman Museum’s Educational Service.

The Educational Service organises initiatives for children and their families, students of all ages, adults and people with special needs.

All the initiatives organised by the Educational Service are designed and developed to be inclusive and accessible, to offer an experience of the Museum that is rich and engaging for all visitors.

Creating an experience to remember and stimulating a desire to experience it again, coming back to the Museum again and again: this is the challenge taken on by the Educational Service.

Important notice

All of the educational activities organised by entities other than the National Roman Museum must be notified and agreed in advance with the Educational Service in writing with appropriate advance notice:

In partnership with Coopculture

The National Roman Museum’s Educational Service undertakes numerous activities in cooperation with Coopculture. The programmes proposed by Coopculture, developed specifically for each of the Museum’s four sites, are aimed at the various groups that use the Museum, providing a varied range of services including guided visits, workshops for adults and families, summer camps and specific activities for schools.
